How To Re-Size Straps
Step 1: What You’ll Need
1.Apple Watch with metal link band
2.Link remover tool
Step 2: Check the Fit
Put on the watch and decide how many links you need to remove for a snug, comfortable fit.
Step 3: Find Removable Links
Turn the band over and look for small arrows on the inside of the links.
These arrows show which links can be removed and in which direction to push the pin.
Step 4: Place the Band in the Tool
Insert the band into the link remover tool, making sure the arrow on the link points toward the tool’s pin.
Line up the pin on the tool with the hole in the link.
Step 5: Push Out the Pin
Turn the tool’s knob slowly to push the pin out of the link.
Once the pin is partly out, use tweezers or pliers to pull it out completely.
⚠️ Never force the pin. If it’s stuck, reset and try again gently.
Step 6: Remove the Link(s)
Take out the number of links needed.
For best balance, remove an equal number of links from both sides of the clasp.
Step 7: Reconnect the Band
Align the remaining links and insert the pin back in (opposite of arrow direction).
Use the tool or gently tap with a small hammer to secure the pin in place.
Step 8: Try It On!
Put the watch back on to make sure the fit is just right.
If it’s still too loose or tight, repeat the process.
